THIS BRACKET HAS AN ADDITIONAL SLIDE PLATE (NO SLIDE BAR/SQUARE ROD) WHICH ALLOWS IT TO MOUNT ONTO JUST ONE VERTICAL SLAT INSTEAD OF TWO.

IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH CARS WITH ONLY ONE CENTER VERTICAL SLAT.
