A 2-SCREW LICENSE PLATE HOLDER secures a license plate with just two screws. 

The part of the license plate that is not secured by screws tend to bend outward.  See Tip below on how to overcome this issue. The 2-SCREW PLATE HOLDER is sufficient to secure a plate but is not ideal when using a license plate frame.

A 4-SCREW LICENSE PLATE HOLDER secures a license plate with four screws.  It is ideal to use when securing license plate with a license plate frame.

Either license plate holder will work regardless of the height of the grille.  In most cases the bottom section of the plate is in front of the grille and the top part is in front of the bumper.   

2-SCREW LICENSE PLATE HOLDER TIP:

Our 2-screw plate holder is design so that it is completely hidden behind a European license plate. A euro plate consist of the plate and the plastic frame that holds it. The frame can be fastened onto the 2-screw plate holder using just the two screws. Euro plate frames are NOT included with our license plate brackets.

After research, we find that the ordered bracket is NOT compatible with the vehicle; Things you can do before ordering: -Review the Grille Requirements, Current Successful Fitments List or Contact Us; -Do not hesitate to email or text us for assistance; -Make sure the mounting location on your grille will not interfere with any sensors (We also check for this). 2. No email replies from customer requesting for additional grille information when needed to verify compatibility. Communication is very important to us and most of our customers really appreciate it.

Delivery delays by mail carriers are beyond Sly Bracket’s control. However, we will assist in anyway we can to communicate with mail carriers if the tracking number of an order does not show any new updates for more than 7 days. Sly Brackets is not responsible for any delivery issues with international shipping once the package leaves a United States mail facility.
The tracking number will show its delivery history within the USPS system up to your address. Please contact your local mail carrier.
Most vehicles either have mesh or horizontal slats grille. The brackets are basically designed to be versatile and therefore universal to fit most mesh or slat grille types. What most people are concerned about is how deep their grille is from the bumper. So, each bracket includes spacers and extenders that can be used. The license plate holder is vertically adjustable giving you the option to what height of the plate looks better to you.
Active Grille Shutters are horizontal slats that open and closes while the vehicle is in motion. The best way to check is to shine a light onto the lower grille and see if there are other horizontal slats behind it. You can also take different angled close-up cellphone photos of the lower grille with the flash on and email or text the photos to us so we can help.

When you first ordered the the bracket you would have been asked to check for ACTIVE GRILLE SHUTTERS. To receive a customized mount place a second order with the ACTIVE GRILLE SHUTTER measurements and ship back the first bracket. You will be refunded for the price of the first bracket when returned. Shipping is none refundable.
NOTE: MEASUREMENTS ONLY NEEDED FOR HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL SLATS GRILLES. NOT FOR MESH TYPE GRILLES. Insert a measuring tape into the grille right on top of the Grille slat where the bracket will be mounted.
